The Martial World: I Become a Big Shot by Selling Goods to the System

As the saying goes, poverty drives people to seek change, hardship drives them to work harder, and wealth inspires them to look further ahead.

Lu Siyuan’s name embodied his family’s hopes for him: prosperity.

Unfortunately, his home was tucked away in a remote mountain village with poor transport links. The villagers had no source of income beyond what they grew in their fields and the pigs, chickens, ducks, and geese they raised.

Becoming wealthy was little more than a fond wish.

After graduating from high school, Lu Siyuan, who had been raised from the age of six on meals provided by families throughout the village, decided to leave. He wanted to get out not only of his backward village and township, but also of the county seat, which was just as deep in the mountains.

Life in a big city was expensive. After running into dead ends several times, Lu Siyuan relied on his height and sturdy build to land a job at a debt collection agency, where his job was to collect debts.

After more than a year of hard work, he had somehow saved over a hundred thousand yuan.

And that was when the story began.

It was the autumn of 2012. Debt collection, death, and a brush with jail, along with a sudden, unexpected turn of events, changed his life completely.

He went from being an ordinary debt collector, neither good nor bad, to taking his first step into the real underworld… And that’s where the story begins!
