The male protagonist is a "code tinker" (equivalent to an ancient blacksmith) living at the bottom of the Cyber Ming Dynasty. He accidentally picked up an encryption chip belonging to an "electronics factory man". In order to treat his sister's illness (replacing a mechanical heart), he was forced to get involved in the court's "cloud battle".
