At Spirit Mountain, the world believes that the dead Wukong was the Six-Eared Macaque. Little do they know that the one who truly died was the Great Sage Equal to Heaven, Sun Wukong.

The Six-Eared Macaque takes Sun Wukong's place and completes the Journey to the West tribulation.

Spirit Mountain successfully spreads its faith to the Eastern Lands, ushering in the rise of Buddhism. With that, the Journey to the West tribulation comes to an end.

Black Myth Wukong returns, reborn and charging into Spirit Mountain to destroy Buddhism.

The Celestial Court took part in the plot against him, so Black Myth Wukong storms the Celestial Court and destroys the gods.

Black Myth Wukong throws the gods and Buddhas into chaos, and no one can do a thing about him.

When the Three Pure Ones and the Two Western Saints join forces to capture Black Myth Wukong, the mysterious powerhouse steps in.
