“I have an idea.” Shen Jia pulled a folded sheet of paper from his pocket, unfolded it, and handed it to Engineer Li. It was covered in densely packed runes and notes on mechanical components. “I designed this ‘stealth device’ by combining witchcraft runes with dungeon technology. Can you build it before dawn tomorrow?”
Engineer Li took the plans. His eyes widened as his fingers moved back and forth between the runes and the mechanical notes. He muttered, “Use runes to interfere with energy detection, then electromagnetic shielding to block System scans... Captain Shen, this is brilliant! We should have enough materials with the alloy scraps from the dungeon and the witchcraft crystals in our stock, but the schedule’s tight...” He looked out the window at the sky. “I’ll take a team to the workshop right now. We’ll work through the night and have it ready before sunrise tomorrow.”
“Thanks for your hard work.” Shen Jia patted his shoulder. “Also, ask Sister Zhang from the medical team to come see me. I need to talk to her about something.”
