Prince of Tennis: Before He Became a God

[Tanegashima Shuji x Yukimura Seiichi | Childhood Friends | Heartwarming Coming-of-Age | Equally Matched]

At the age of three, Yukimura Seiichi was sent to Kyoto. There, he saw a blanket of snow for the first time and met Tanegashima Shuji for the first time.

"Gods don't need friends," Yukimura Seiichi once thought.

That was until Tanegashima Shuji barged into his world and said with a smile, "Gods might not need friends, but you need me."

(Reader's Guide: In this version, Mifune Nyudo is Yukimura's maternal grandfather, Tanegashima and Yukimura are childhood friends, Rikkai Dai has 16 regulars plus 3 reserves, and the fantasy tennis is treated directly as superpowers. The power scaling is all over the place.)
