The Yin-Yang Tailor: I Stitch Ghosts and Gods with Needle and Thread

During a visit to his hometown, Chen Shan opens his eyes and sees his mother-in-law’s “soul” being led toward the old family home by an underworld messenger. He risks his life to save her, only to be branded a “harbinger of evil” and shunned by the entire village. His wife is forced to remarry, his daughter is called a “ghost brat,” and he is falsely accused of theft and beaten until his leg is broken. On a night of despair, the ancestral corpse-stitching needle pierces his palm, and a voice rings out in his mind: “Stitching Heaven and Earth can’t mend what’s broken. Today, I’ll teach you to stitch ghosts and gods!”

From then on, he becomes a “tailor” who walks between the worlds of the living and the dead. Those who bully his wife and daughter will have three lifetimes of good fortune stitched away. Those who seize his family’s property will have their seven souls left in tatters. Those who call him mad will receive a custom-made garment of “a hundred ghosts devouring the heart”… As the once-arrogant bullies kneel and wail in endless terror, Chen Shan only twists the bloodstained thread in his hand and quietly asks, “Who should I stitch up next?”
