I Only Asked for Protection Money, and Now All the Students Are Big Shots

Ye Yan accidentally binds himself to the "Teacher System" and becomes a teacher sent to Qing Shan No. 9 Middle School.

He'd planned to fleece the students a little to improve his own life.

But after taking a look at the class, his heart sank halfway. Every student was dirt poor, living in a house stripped bare!

To collect protection money from his students, Ye Yan is forced to start teaching them some hardcore skills.

"Want to learn the Iron Shirt and Golden Bell Shield? Once you've mastered them, you can set up a stall at the temple fair and offer a 'Ten yuan per punch, test your toughness' experience. Make a fortune every day!"

"Want to learn programming and hacking? You can help business owners scientifically recover their bank passwords and WeChat accounts. One job will earn you a year's harvest!"

"Want to learn the ancient Meridian-Severing Finger? It cures insomnia and anxiety. One poke and you'll sleep for eight hours. Better than sleeping pills!"

Ye Yan counts the protection money his students hand over, happily waiting to lie flat and retire.

Until, years later...

The hulking fool who used to get mocked for doing street performances becomes the founder of an international top-tier security group.

The hacker kid who helped people find their passwords makes the top of the world's hundred leading cybersecurity companies list.

Even the girl who first claimed she could use pressure points and was called a con artist becomes a renowned traditional Chinese medicine expert, hailed as the medical sage of the age...

The big shots from the class fly back from every corner of the country to that run-down high school.

They pile countless black cards and equity documents on the chipped lectern in front of Ye Yan.

The billionaire student at their head smiles faintly.

"Teacher, we've come to pay our protection money again."

"This time, we want to buy out the rest of your life."
