In order to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and the emotional past, the illustrator Su Wan moved to a small town in the south of the Yangtze River and met his mysterious neighbor Lu Chengyu for the first time in a rainy alley. The two gradually intersected due to their common love for Jiangnan's ancient architecture and customs. From the happy conversation when they reunited in the library, to the subtle heartbeat of walking together in the rain, to the tacit understanding of exploring ancient villages together, their relationship quietly heated up in every moment of daily life. In the process, Su Wan was invited to an art exhibition based on his paintings, and gradually regained his creative confidence; Lu Chengyu's hidden past (related to a dusty family story and an old friend similar to Su Wan) was also slowly revealed as they got along. After experiencing the test of trust, past ties, and realistic challenges, the two finally confirmed their feelings. In the fireworks and poetry of Jiangnan, they gained each other's warmth and salvation, and jointly guarded the tranquility of the small town and each other's love.
