You Hired Me as a Forensic Pathologist, So Why Did You Turn the Killer into a Specimen?

Xu Ze has only just taken over the forensic center when he encounters a mutilation case involving body parts marked with bite wounds.

A body dumped in a drainage channel, rumors surrounding an abandoned sanatorium, and the shadow of a fifteen-year-old cold case converge.

The anesthetic and rare spices found in the victim’s body point to a cannibalistic organization.

From shadow-puppet pigments to medical preservatives, from the estates of the powerful to a forbidden island in international waters, the clues weave a deadly web.

As Xu investigates with his partner, criminal police captain Tan Xiaomin, feelings quietly begin to grow between them. But the organization retaliates with ruthless force.

An old case involving his father, an undercover agent’s sacrifice, and military intervention: the forces behind it all are unfathomably deep.

When the “Connoisseurs” and “H Organization” emerge, the truth is far more horrifying than anyone imagined.
