[Cross-Time Exchange] [No CP, Female Lead Stands on Her Own] [Office Worker Saves Herself] [No Toxic Relatives] [Fictional World] [Parallel Worlds] [Wild Imagination] [Ancient-Era Growth] [HE]
Mini-scene 1:
Modern-day Su Wan (murmuring to a silver bangle): "I'm sending you this bag of milk candies. Try selling them at the market. You should be able to get some silver for them."
Ancient-era best friend Su Wan (holding the milk candies, eyes brimming with tears): "Thank you. I'll give you the embroidered handkerchief my mother left me. I hope it can help you."
Mini-scene 2:
Three months later, modern-day Su Wan looks at the 50,000 yuan in her bank account and flings her resignation letter at her manipulative manager. "I'm done putting up with this!"
Ancient-era Su Wan stands by her embroidery stall, facing her uncle and aunt's harassment, and holds her head high. "You have no right to touch my things!"
A twenty-yuan antique silver bangle isn't a cheat-code artifact. It's a light guiding two girls trapped in desperate circumstances as they help each other out of the darkness.
Also known as: My Parallel-World Self and I Became Best Friends
Modern-day Su Wan unexpectedly gets a bangle and meets her ancient-era self from a parallel world. After learning about the tragic past of the pitiful Su Wan, she decides to help her. To her surprise, the feelings are mutual! And so they start trading goods, buying and selling everything they can, and embark on a path to wealth. But then they unexpectedly uncover the truth...
❤️ (Su Wan's husband: Lu Jingyuan)
Since this is a fictional world, the Great Jing Dynasty where Su Wan lives has used Arabic numerals since the previous dynasty.
The female lead is Su Wan. This is important, so I'll say it three times: the female lead has no CP, no CP, no CP.
Both the modern and ancient settings in the story are fictional~
