Unleashed blurb (truly unleashed):
After waking up in ancient times, Su Xiaotang finds herself with quite a broad range of responsibilities.
She has to run the family business, uncover the truth behind her father's death, and, by accident, get involved with a domineering, scheming, handsome young lord.
He's perfect in every way, except that he was practically raised in a vinegar jar. He drove away her fiancé, and now and then he goes off the deep end and locks her up in a forced-love situation.
As Jinling City's hardest-working employee, she's a CEO by day and her lord's personal customer-service rep by night.
Even more absurdly, the mad beauty from the neighboring kingdom has become one of her VIP clients, writing every few days to ask for relationship advice. Every letter ends with, "I know your husband is jealous, so no need to reply."
Zhao Heng (furious): "He wrote to you again? What did he say about me this time?!"
Su Xiaotang (calmly sipping tea): "He said you're broad-minded."
Zhao Heng: "...What a load of bull!"
Su Xiaotang: Thanks for asking. I'm in ancient times, where my main business is commerce, my side gig is relationship counseling, and I also smooth things over with my jealous husband. Life is just so fulfilling and uneventful.
Don't let the blurb fool you. This is actually a proper historical drama...
Any fellow fans of Where Winds Meet? I was completely obsessed with Zhao Er early on while writing this, so I gave the male lead lots of Zhao Er's traits and planted quite a few little Where Winds Meet Easter eggs. I hope anyone who spots them gets a knowing smile.
This is my first time writing a novel, so please bear with me. Even if nobody reads it, I'll keep writing until it's finished.
