Su Li, a blogger who lives alone, rented an old house from the Republic of China that was transferred at a low price to shoot a series of videos called "Old House Renovation". On the first day she moved in, she discovered that the master bedroom closet was strange. She could always hear the sound of nails scraping wood boards late at night, but when she opened it, there was nothing. The reflection in the mirror occasionally made different movements from hers. What was even weirder was that there was a red wedding dress that did not belong to her hidden deep in the closet. The name "Meng Wan" embroidered on the collar was the same name as the daughter of the previous owner of the old house, and that girl died of suffocation in the closet thirty years ago.
As the renovation progresses, Su Li discovers that there are clues hidden in every part of the old house: the hair under the floor, the nails in the cracks in the wall, the diary in the secret compartment of the attic... The owner of the diary is none other than Meng Wan, and the lines are filled with the fear of "sister" and the crazy words "there is another me in the closet". Su Li gradually realized that Meng Wan's death was no accident, and that "sister" seemed to be strikingly similar to her current self.
