Li Fugen, a civilian veterinarian, accidentally swallowed a "dog egg" and was able to understand dog language and command hundreds of dogs. In order to protect his beautiful wife and his home, he uses the body of a veterinarian and the eyes of a pack of dogs to outsmart the wealthy gentry, overcome conspiracies, and turn farming in the countryside into an intelligence battlefield. In the end, he goes from the fields to the power chess game, performing a grassroots counterattack and an absurd conspiracy comedy in which dogs dominate all directions.
