Reverse Summer and Echoes

Male Lead 1: Jiang Xu, a transfer student who seems aloof and taciturn and ranks first by a huge margin. In truth, he carries the stigma of academic fraud after being framed by a friend at his former school. He transferred to escape the scandal and is secretly gathering evidence to clear his name. Skilled at logical deduction, he keeps people at a distance, but has an abiding attachment to an old bookstore in the historic district.

Male Lead 2: Xia Yu, a popular figure at the school and captain of the basketball team. Sunny and outgoing, he hides his troubles: his mother is seriously ill and needs a fortune in medical bills, so he secretly earns money singing at a bar. Though he seems to get along with everyone, he never opens his heart to anyone.

How they get entangled: The two cross paths after a “library misunderstanding.” Jiang Xu thinks Xia Yu has hidden an important reference book, while Xia Yu resents Jiang Xu’s cold attitude. Later, a teacher forces them to team up for a two-person “academic and practical skills” campus competition, binding them together whether they like it or not.
