Qi Yue is a strong, athletic girl with a talent for swimming and a wandering heart: she falls for someone new every time she meet them. At a street corner, she runs into her crush, Qin Hongshen, a cool and aloof top student who leaves everyone else in the dust in both brains and looks.
To Qi Yue’s surprise, she runs into him again at Nanjiang Middle School.
She’s brimming with confidence. “Should I just sweep him off his feet, or be more subtle? Should I melt his heart with my sweet smile, or impress him with my vast knowledge?”
Then she launches a series of “heart-fluttering disasters.”
“I’m dying of embarrassment!”

She keeps pursuing him, but something starts to feel off. Qin Hongshen confesses to her.

But she... falls for someone else!! She actually develops feelings for Zhou Yi, her childhood friend, the boy she usually teases and bickers with. Oh my goodness!

Later, after Zhou Yi sees Qi Yue hugging Qin Hongshen, he runs off to the basketball court to cool down. Qi Yue hurries after him to soothe him.
