Synopsis

A purple orb symbolizing the hunt and a red orb symbolizing escape tear through the night sky and crash toward Earth.

Akira Kurosawa, an ordinary member of the defense force, is "chosen" by the red orb while on patrol and becomes the temporary symbiote of the dark giant "Anasius." Meanwhile, the purple orb chooses "Misa Kobayashi," a girl on her way home from school, and imposes upon her the ruthless will known as "Set."

Humanity's fate is rewritten by the arrival of these two unwelcome visitors. Will they protect or destroy? The answer lies in the resonance of every heartbeat and the choices made in every battle.

Are There Stories Where the Protagonist Becomes a Brand-New Ultraman Instead of an Existing One?

I mean stories where the protagonist becomes a brand-new Ultraman, not transmigrates into an old one like Tiga, Cosmos, or Zero, and not one of those especially powerful Ultramen either. A completely new one.
