The Gluttonous Taotie Has the Embroidered-Uniform Guards Drooling!

[Animal thoughts + food + doted on by everyone + everyday life + gossip + a touch of mystery-solving]

Zhou Ruyi was a gluttonous Taotie living in the modern world. After being struck by lightning, she transmigrated into the head chef in charge of the Imperial Guard’s cafeteria.

Today, she’d stir-fry river snails; tomorrow, she’d make spicy fish chunks; the day after that, she’d serve up a fragrant, mouthwatering hotpot.

The Imperial Guards were practically drooling! They even found themselves motivated to catch criminals!

She could also pet cats, stroke dogs, and help the Imperial Guards investigate cases and catch criminals along the way.

Life couldn’t be more pleasant.

That is, until one day, she revealed her true form while sneaking a bite, and the animals discovered she was a Taotie.

Big Tiger: “What? You’re telling me she’s a Taotie?!”

Leopard: “What?! A Taotie?! Aren’t we all just food to her?!”

Lynx: “What?! I’m willing to be eaten!”

All the animals: “??? Something’s wrong with you!”

Zhulong, disguised as a lynx: “What are you looking at? I am the divine beast Zhulong! Get down on your knees at once!”

The next moment, Zhou Ruyi grabbed him by the ear. “Sounds like your dragon scales are itching!”

Zhulong dropped to his knees in a flash. “Spare me, ancestor!”
