Mystery City Chronicle tells the story of a series of bizarre cases that occurred in the modern city "Fengyun City", and the police and private forces in the city launched a racing investigation. Lin Xiaoqi leads a team of detectives with different personalities. Each member is involved in the investigation for their own reasons, and together they explore for clues between humorous complaints and highly tense cases. Four independent but echoing major cases, from disappearance, murder, theft to the final transnational conspiracy, there are subtle human entanglements and secret connections behind each case. The protagonists continue to break through the mystery through wisdom, courage and friendship, and finally reveal an ultimate mystery that can overturn the entire city.
