The real and fake Monkey King is the most famous play in Buddhism.
When the six-eared macaque's stick fell and a sly smile appeared on Tathagata's face, Sun Wukong realized that he was the "fake" who wanted to be erased.
But he didn't die.
He fell into an unspeakable world. The trees here are like solidified sarcoma, the monsters are the remnants of faith, and the villagers sacrifice despair and delusion as "offerings" every day. The "Buddha" they knelt down to worship was a squirming and deformed flesh and blood body.
Here, power comes from pollution, and practice equals distortion. By swallowing the black faith, you can become stronger, but at the cost of gradually becoming an indescribable monster.
Sun Wukong, who lost his golden cudgel, lost all his immortal power, and had only half a heart of stone, faced this dark Buddhist kingdom that subverted his cognition, and for the first time he felt the trembling from his life instinct.
Until he saw his first "old friend" - the black bear spirit who once stole the brocade cassock and was later taken away by Guanyin, had turned into a crazy and twisted nightmare creation. Before its soul flew away, it roared with the last trace of consciousness:
"Run away... Monkey... Buddha is no longer a Buddha!"
From then on, a westward journey full of blasphemy and rebellion started again in the abyss.
The Monkey King's battle defeated the Buddha's golden body, and began to flow with filthy black. Fierce eyes, opening half of the abyss.
He wants to feed on demons and faith, and carve out a way back on this crazy road that devours everything, or... Carve out a bloody road that is more shocking than "becoming a Buddha".
