Lin Fanhua, an ordinary urban woman who refuses to be mediocre, works hard in the glamorous fashion circle and stumbles in her trivial life. She has a group of unique friends who laugh at workplace pressures, family tests, emotional turmoil and the trivialities of life. The anxiety of choice at the age of thirty, the conflicts between best friends, and the conflict and test of love and ideals make them gradually grow up in unexpected highs and lows. The story follows three main lines in parallel: workplace growth, emotional exploration, and family affection. Each volume is advanced through the main axis and unfolds alternately. The whole book uses the structure of a group portrait drama to depict the various life styles of urban women who are both embarrassed and strong, contradictory and free. They laugh with tears, are warm and healed, and finally enter into self-reconciliation and harmony.
