My Face Is Being Used in a Livestream Scam

I spent 999 yuan on an AI ghost face. The next day, “I” scammed 5.18 million yuan in an overseas livestream. My ex-girlfriend, a cybercrime officer, gave me 48 hours to prove my innocence. What began as a farce sparked by an underground trade in AI “ghost faces” accidentally exposed the seven years of crimes Shen Che had kept hidden. When Xu Shan, the victim, returned as the top hacker “Shadow” and used Shen Che’s own face to set a deadly trap in a livestream scam, this long-awaited revenge had already gone beyond the bounds of the law. It became a carefully planned public execution, designed to strip away the mask worn by the thief for seven years in a livestream watched by the entire internet. Beneath its techno-crime exterior lies a human dilemma about theft, lies, and ultimate judgment.
