"Endless Craftsmanship" tells the story of Zhang Weiguo, the technical backbone of a machine tool factory, who was forced to lay off during the wave of factory layoffs during the transformation of the old industrial base in Northeast China in the 1990s. Faced with the pressure of life, he relied on his solid skills to repair machines in a private workshop. With the silent support of his wife Liu Shufen, he finally opened a repair shop to continue the craftsman spirit of the old factory. The work shows the tenacity, dignity and rebirth of a generation of industrial workers in the changing times.
