[Alternate World + Immortals and Demons + Possessive Love + Little One + Retirement]
Yu Heng had been obsessed with Yu Ru'e for ten thousand years.
Back then, in the snowy wastes of Cold Mountain, he was a dying wolf pup. Yu Ru'e, as divine as a god, saved him on a whim, and from that moment on, his heart was completely lost.
After ascending to the throne as Demon Venerable, he disregarded everything and laid down an Immortal-Sealing Formation, binding the aloof and transcendent Immortal Venerable and bringing him back to the Demon Palace. In the most obsessive way possible, he kept him imprisoned at his side.
While searching for medicine in the spirit realm, he unexpectedly formed a symbiotic pact with Huodou, a cub of an ancient ferocious beast, and picked up a little black-furred fire-breather. He doted on the Immortal Venerable, then doted on the cub, raising Huodou to be utterly unruly.
Who could have guessed that when he sent the little one out to gain experience, the cub would be lured away by Yi Feng, the ambitious new leader of the Winged Clan?
Yu Heng gave a cold laugh and gave Yi Feng one year: “Turn him into a worthy successor to the Demon Venerable, or the Winged Clan will be erased!”
When the year was up, he didn’t make things difficult for them. Instead, he watched Yi Feng and Huodou join forces, spending a hundred years bringing peace to the demon and monster realms and earning great renown.
After laying down the burden of being Demon Venerable, Yu Heng picked up his Immortal Venerable and flew to the shores of the East Sea in the mortal realm. “Immortal Venerable, my ten-thousand-year obsession has finally been fulfilled. For the rest of our lives, let’s watch the tides rise and fall together.”
The aloof Immortal Venerable’s ears flushed red, and he silently accepted Yu Heng’s companionship.
An obsessive Demon Venerable × an aloof Immortal Venerable. A sweet, doting story of going from imprisonment to staying together, facing challenges across the Three Realms with their little one, and finally retiring in seclusion. (The ending isn’t set in stone. There may be many different endings. There are already two versions, and there may be more later.)
P.S. There’ll be a little of that sort of content, so please don’t read if you mind.
The author's writing style is very good, and the emotions of the Demon Lord and the Immortal Lord are also very natural. He writes about the Immortal Lord spending his immortal energy to prevent the Demon Lord from being hurt, and then the Demon Lord steals treasures from other realms and saves the Immortal Lord from being injured. This part left me speechless and puzzled. I have been looking forward to the follow-up chapters for a long time.
