This world has a system for defining humanity, a set of rules as impossible to defy as the laws of physics, constantly assigning definitions to all things. Once someone or something is defined, the very nature of its existence is completely rewritten.
Outside this system are a rare few who can sense and resist the definitions. Their very existence is an error, triggering the system's correction mechanism: an invisible terror that manifests as reality distortion, altered memories, and erasure from existence.
