Devouring Souls to Attain the Dao

Thirty years of Qi Refining, and no one cares. One day of soul-devouring, and all under heaven are shocked.

Liu Feng transmigrated to the cultivation world thirty years ago. With his four-spirit-root aptitude, he was trapped at the peak of Qi Refining, suffering from scarce resources and the contempt of the immortal sects. At the brink of death, after his closest friend was brutally killed, he was forced to accept an ancient, forbidden legacy: The True Essentials of Soul Devouring, along with a battered Banner of Ten Thousand Souls.

From then on, he embarked on a path that the world would never tolerate: the Way of Seizing Heaven. He would not devour ordinary people or the innocent, only those who seized others' opportunities, treated them like grass, and blocked their path to immortality. From a nobody in the market district to a blood-shadowed righteous thief, from public enemy of the sects to a target hunted by the whole world, he devoured his enemies with his soul banner, plundered their cultivation, and climbed ever higher amid blood and fire.

But after becoming invincible in this realm and severing the path to ascension, he glimpsed a chilling truth: the so-called cultivation world was nothing but a carefully tended "Dao Fruit Farm." The so-called Heavenly Dao and ascension were part of a cruel deception that had endured for countless millennia.

"Since the Heavenly Dao is unjust, treating all living things like straw dogs..."

"Then I'll seize heaven itself and rewrite its rules!"

This is a story of resistance, plunder, and remaking the world. Watch how a nobody uses the most ruthless methods to uphold the simplest justice, and ultimately... seize heaven and seek the Dao!
