Spring Breeze Weaves Splendor

A coming-of-age epic about women, set against China's reform and opening-up from 1977 to 1992. Through the eyes of Lin Xiuyun, an ordinary worker at a textile mill in Jiangnan, it shows how a generation of women awakened and changed amid the clash between tradition and modernity. With delicate prose, it depicts the shifting fates of ordinary people swept along by the tides of their era.
