[Farming + Food + Supernatural + Everyday Life]
Unable to keep up with the rat race in the city, Feng Chaoge decisively quit her job and chose to lie flat. She returned to her old family home in the countryside, ready to spend her days farming and basking in the sun, living out the rest of her life in peace.
But on her very first day back in the village, she ran into a handsome man in ancient robes, with long white hair and an otherworldly air.
He was so beautiful he hardly seemed human. He wandered the village in his period costume in the middle of the night, yet told her not to come outside unless she had to.
Feng Chaoge thought the man was crazy.
On her second day back, the sparrows in the parasol tree began singing for her. Feng Chaoge poked a sparrow in the bottom and watched as the chickens at home gradually mutated, gaining dozens of pounds in just over ten days and laying eggs bigger than goose eggs. Even the well water in the courtyard was uncanny: a drink could cure ordinary nearsightedness!
Feng Chaoge had only wanted to lie flat, eat, drink, and tend her fields. But the vegetables she grew yielded twice as much and tasted delicious, while the livestock she raised had special properties and were in such high demand that she went from poverty straight to a comfortable life.
As life improved, the mystery surrounding the bizarre deaths of her grandmother and mother years ago began to surface. Feng Chaoge realized that she might not be human.
But when she first returned to the village, all she really wanted was to farm!
It turns out that Dadada has published a new book, and I came here to support it. It's very interesting 😘😘
