My fiancée paid ten spirit stones to end our seven-year engagement. The spirit herbs I grew mutated, and the supervisor deliberately crippled me and stole all the credit. On the night of the blood moon, I dragged my broken leg to the edge of the fields. My blood dripped onto an ancient stele. A barefoot, black-clad witch emerged from the moonlight and demonic energy. She tapped my head. “The immortal path doesn’t want you?” “Then enter the demonic path. I’ll teach you how to seize the workings of creation.”
