The Whole Capital Wants to Ride My Koi Luck

Shen Yuewei transmigrates into the body of an orphan fleeing famine in ancient times and gets a “Life Simulation” System from the start.

Once a day, she can simulate the future, but every outcome is a dead end:

[Three days from now, you’ll be trampled to death by refugees while fighting over half a steamed bun.]

[You accept porridge from the county magistrate, drink three bowls, and die of poisoning.]

[You take shelter from the rain in a ruined temple, where a collapsing beam kills you on the spot.]

Shen Yuewei: ...How is anyone supposed to play this game?!

Trembling with fear, she relies on the simulation’s hints to change her fate at every turn:

The simulation says she’ll die fighting for a bun, so she digs a hole and hides food in it overnight, only to uncover a treasure cave from a previous dynasty, packed with gold and silver.

The simulation says she’ll die from drinking porridge, so she politely declines the charity meal and takes another route, only to “happen upon” an unconscious young nobleman, save his life, and receive a life-saving jade talisman in return.

The simulation says the ruined temple will collapse, so she takes everyone in the village out to sleep in the open. That night, bandits raid the temple, and the whole village escapes disaster thanks to her.

She becomes the “Lucky Fairy” of the refugees. Wherever she goes, good fortune follows.
