My Sister’s Forbidden Love

This is a complex and profound love story between Su Wan, a divorced woman, and Lin Ye, a poor young man. Facing a marital crisis, Su Wan got back in touch with Lin Ye, a student from a poor mountainous region whom she and her husband had once sponsored, and brought him to the city to continue his education. As they spent more time together, Lin Ye developed an obsession with Su Wan that went beyond gratitude, while she gradually struggled to acknowledge her feelings for him, despite the gap in their ages and social status.

Key plot points:

1. How their relationship begins: Su Wan initially cares for Lin Ye as his sponsor, treating him like a younger brother. But from the moment they first meet, Lin Ye secretly falls for her and keeps his feelings hidden for years.

2. Emotional conflict: Lin Ye's confession makes Su Wan resist him. She believes his feelings are a mix of dependence and gratitude, not genuine love. But after they go through a cold war and reconcile, their relationship gradually crosses the line.

3. Growth and redemption: Through this relationship, Su Wan escapes the shadow of her marriage and transforms herself. Lin Ye struggles with both his inferiority complex and his longing, but eventually learns to face his feelings.
