After Deceiving Seven Top-Tier Stars, I Went into Seclusion

Five years ago, I “conned” seven A-list actresses, made off with tens of billions, and vanished without a trace.

Some quit show business for me, some bought me houses, and some wept and begged me to come back and marry them.

The whole internet branded me the “con artist of the century,” and the police put me at the top of their wanted list.

But no one knew the truth:

I had simply hidden away in the mountains with two adorable kids, farming and raising pandas, while casually creating Slam Dunk and The Legend of Qin.

Then the Back to Field show crew barged into my village, and their drone livestream pointed straight at my courtyard.

Viewers across the country saw it with their own eyes:

I was riding an elephant for a stroll, pandas and red-crowned cranes lived in my backyard, and my five-year-old daughter calmly recited “Song of Everlasting Regret.”

The livestream exploded.

The trending topics exploded.

And so did my seven ex-girlfriends:

Gao Yuanyuan choked up on camera: “He's not a con artist. He's my husband!”

Zhang Tianai smashed a glass: “That Tomson Riviera apartment was the gift I gave him to celebrate our love!”

Li Qin flew over in the middle of the night: “I'm the one who gave birth to your child. Why did you run away?”

The police launched a manhunt overnight, but I received a System notification:

[Within the next five days, “con” another 600 million from three of your ex-girlfriends.]

Me: “...”

Is it too late to turn myself in?
