This Daoist Is Going to Cultivate Immortality

During the Investiture of the Gods tribulation, a young man from Earth unexpectedly transmigrates to the Great Shang dynasty. He becomes a disciple of the leader of the Jie Sect, Tongtian Jiaozhu, and the sect's fifth direct disciple. But his cultivation time is ultimately too short for him to change the outcome of the Investiture of the Gods, so he has no choice but to seek Tongtian Jiaozhu's help. The leader divines the secrets of Heaven and glimpses a fragment of the future, discovering that the Jie Sect's turning point lies with his fifth disciple. He then uses a sage's power to break through the barriers of time and space, sending Luo Chen's soul and a strand of the Green Duckweed Sword's origin into the future... And so the story begins.

Ten thousand years pass in the blink of an eye.
