Three car accidents happen to Xu Wangyue in the three months after she moves into her fiancé’s home.
She starts investigating Shen Huozhou, feeling around in his suit pockets, following him to work, and hiding under his bed to eavesdrop…
She discovers that the Shen Huozhou she has known all her life is hiding many things from her.
Shen Huozhou realizes his fiancée seems to be trying to seduce him.
Xu Wangyue, who has never eaten food left by anyone else, suddenly changes her ways. She insists on eating from his bowl, drinking from his cup, and waiting for him to come home from work so they can have dinner together…
Xu Wangyue (thinking): I’m only being careful in case you’re trying to drug me. Don’t get the wrong idea!
Shen Huozhou: And climbing into my bed is also just being careful, Attorney Xu?
Xu Wangyue: …No. I just failed to murder my husband, that’s all. Don’t worry, go back to sleep.
