Lin Bufan was originally a staunch atheist, and he only wanted to work hard to gain fame and become an extraordinary person. But since he was encouraged by Fatty Zhi to enter the ruined temple at the head of the village that no one dared to enter, his life has completely changed.
The female ghost Qi Lian who possessed Lin Bufan had an extremely tragic fate. She was a human being in seven lives, and she was reincarnated into the same mother's belly for the first six times, but her father Jin Li, a gambler, threw her into a urine bucket and drowned each time on the grounds that she was not a boy and wasted food. In her seventh reincarnation, even though her mother risked her life to protect her, her father still thought she was a baby girl and refused to let her have his own surname, so she could only take her mother's surname. The mother firmly believed that every child is a lotus in front of the Buddha, so she named her Qi Lian.
Qi Lian, who came from a poor family, was sold into the palace at the age of fifteen and became the queen's personal maid. She thought her fate would improve, but after the queen fell ill and died, the emperor actually ordered that all the maids in the queen's palace be buried with her. Qi Lian was unwilling to give up, so she used the gold and silver jewelry she earned as a palace maid to pay for the black and white impermanence, and she stayed in the earth for a long time.
Lin Bufan didn't believe in the theories about ghosts and gods in this world, such as doing ashrams to save the dead after death, the dead being judged in the underworld, ghosts returning to their places after three rooster crows, and only roosters being used in sacrifices instead of hens, etc. But now, with Qi Lian possessed, one person and one ghost began to make money crazily under Qi Lian's arrangement...
In the end, with the help of the female ghost, Lin Bufan became the richest man in China. And successfully won the heart of Qi Lian, one person and one ghost got married, and performed a realistic version of the unresolved love between man and ghost...
