When Tanjiro Kamado grasped both his Nichirin Blade and the broken demon blade of Kokushibo amid the ruins of the Infinity Castle, two Breathing Styles resonated in forbidden harmony within his dying body. Where the heat of Sun Breathing met the chill of Moon Breathing, Time Breathing was born. This gift came at a price: each use etched another “time scar” onto his soul, and every time he changed fate, an “echo of himself” in another timeline bore the backlash.

The only way to seal them was to use the eight “time scars” on his body as the array's focal points, and the bonds with the people whose fates he'd changed as its ties, forming the long-lost Eight Trigrams Space-Time Sealing Array.
