Abyssal Mirror: The World Grows More Complicated

When reality cracks, the abyss opens its eyes.

The awakening of the "Abyssal Core" is not the end of the world, but the remaking of civilization. Chen Yuan wants to become a new god. Through the "Ark Project," he would forge a cage of absolute order and upload human consciousness into an eternal virtual paradise. The Pavilion of the Hourglass, cold-hearted cleaners, believes that only by thoroughly "silencing" anomalies can the old world's stability be preserved.

And in the gaps between these clashing forces of light and shadow, a few "ordinary people" kindle a faint light: Lu Shen, a "mirror-bearer" who can resonate with the abyss, glimpses amid his fear the possibility of communication rather than conquest; Lin Jing, an "arbiter" who betrayed her organization, chooses the harder path between ironclad rules and conscience; Liu Yiyun, an ordinary investigative reporter, uses the strokes of truth to tip the scales of global public opinion.

This is no simple war. The abyss itself may be an ancient consciousness longing to be understood. As three factions clash over the future growth of the "Abyssal Core," the nature of the world is being pushed toward eternal authoritarian order, the chaos of all things returning to the void, or... some kind of symbiotic future beyond imagination. The moment of choice is drawing near. On either side of the mirror, who is the true reflection?
