A Game for Everyone: Why Am I a Skeleton Soldier from the Start?

[Monster faction + besieging the beginner town + staying low and growing stronger + nonhuman protagonist] The real world merges with a game world, turning everyone into invading players. To return to their original world, they must defeat the final Boss of this one. “Lucky” Lin Yi spawns directly in a mob of monsters at a demon fortress outside the beginner town, and becomes the lowest-ranked skeleton soldier. While everyone else fights monsters to level up, he is a monster. While everyone else forms parties to clear dungeons, his teammates are skeletons, zombies, and ghosts. While the players raise their weapons and shout about storming the demon fortress to escape the beginner town, he is the lowest-ranking cannon fodder in the place. At that moment, he remembers the words of a predecessor: “My fate is mine to decide, not heaven’s!”
