Symbiosis in the Mirror

In locker 107 at an abandoned textile mill south of Linzhou City lies a secret that has been buried for twenty years. The disappearance of English teacher Lin Xiujuan leads police captain Su Wen to a bloodstained old key. It points to the past of two children from an orphanage: Li Ming and Lin Xiujuan. As the investigation deepens, a long-buried abuse case comes to light. Its perpetrator, Sun Baoshan, has been living in the city under an assumed name, enjoying a quiet life.

When Li Ming uses a carefully planned "game" to prompt the police to reopen the investigation, old traumas come flooding back. A web of evidence, a broken silver pendant, and three recordings spanning twenty years piece together a chilling picture of crime. But behind the truth, the shadow of someone codenamed "Brother Long" still looms, leading to an even larger criminal network.

Two people robbed of their childhoods. A reckoning twenty years overdue. When the law was once absent, how can justice arrive? Mirror Symbiosis is a mystery about trauma, redemption, and obsession. Through twists and turns, it asks: When darkness was once allowed to thrive, what price must be paid for light to be reborn?
