Little Huagu was once a mushroom spirit. Reborn as an orphan with no home and nothing to her name, she needs food and shelter, and wants to settle the karmic debt left behind by the body’s former owner. So she latches onto the imposing Night King and becomes his personal maid. Her promises to work diligently are all an act: she naps while her master works, sneaks his pastries, and makes a run for it whenever trouble arises. Thus begins the curious bond between a slacker maid and a cold-faced prince.
