The Doomsday Begins with Killing a Zombie Dog

(Doomsday + strong female lead + no CP + ensemble cast focus + infrastructure building + progression + expansive worldbuilding later on)

Feng Yu had just killed the Zombie Emperor when, the very next second, she died from rabies she'd contracted at the beginning of the apocalypse.

Feng Yu: I planned for everything, yet somehow never imagined I'd die in such a ridiculous way!

How embarrassing!!!

Reborn a month and a half before doomsday, she immediately started over from scratch!

No betrayal, no bitter grudges, just Feng Yu's determination to become the strongest of the strong.

With one hand, she builds up infrastructure; with the other, she trains her abilities, kills zombies, and collects crystal cores. From the start, she takes down a zombie dog and secures her place as the base's number one.

She thought her five years of experience would guarantee an easy victory, but while she was busy working away, even more disasters arrived one after another.

Zombies evolved, monsters descended...

Why was this apocalypse different from the one she remembered?

Wasn't she supposed to be the heroine of an apocalypse rebirth story?!

(Fans of the female lead, rejoice! No female rivalry, everyone is focused on getting things done.)

(As long as readers don't abandon the book, the author won't abandon it either.)

(This story is entirely fictional and unrelated to real life. Any similarities are purely coincidental.)

(The early chapters are a little messy and difficult to revise. It's recommended that you start around Chapter 20, or skip ahead through the early chapters.)

(Updates as regularly as possible.)
