· Core concept: This is a suspenseful ethical novel about gray justice, moral dilemmas and self-salvation. Explore whether the "scavengers" who wander on the edge of darkness have the power to judge and execute when the sunlight of law and procedure cannot shine into certain corners.
· Time span: two-line narrative. The main plot is the crisis outbreak and confrontation in the "present tense"; the sub-plot gradually reveals the complete truth of the "old case five years ago" through memories and evidence.
·Character settings:
1. Lin Yan (female protagonist, 32 years old): On the surface, she is a calm and sharp elite lawyer who specializes in economic cases and has a very high winning rate. In fact, he is a well-known "scavenger" in the underground world, codenamed "Dark River".
