Douluo Dalu: The Dragon-Subduing Martial Emperor

Lin Yue, heir to an ancient martial arts family on modern Earth, is pulling an all-nighter to catch up on Douluo Dalu when a strange thunderstorm sends him bodily to Holy Soul Village. Unlike Tang San, who is reborn with the Mysterious Heaven Skill and a Blue Silver Grass Martial Soul, Lin Yue is a visitor from another world, completely unbound by the rules of the Douluo World. At the Martial Soul Awakening ceremony, not a glimmer of light appears in his palm, and the entire village calls him a good-for-nothing, worse than someone with a Trash Martial Soul.

But no one knows that Lin Yue's body is circulating the inner cultivation method of Earth's millennia-old Eighteen Dragon Subduing Palms, along with the superior light-footed technique Snow-Treading Without a Trace. Needing no Martial Soul or Soul Rings, he uses ancient martial arts inner force to break through the Soul Power barrier and takes on Soul Masters with his bare body, carving out an incredible path all his own. From quietly honing his skills in Holy Soul Village to an unexpected encounter in Suotuo City with Ning Rongrong, the haughty little princess of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, Lin Yue earns the fearsome title of Dragon-Subduing Martial Emperor with his bare hands in a world ruled by Soul Masters. Together with Ning Rongrong, he ventures into Soul Beast Forests, battles Spirit Hall, and ultimately lets the light of ancient martial arts shine across all of Douluo Dalu.
