Class 27: Not One Left Behind

The story takes place in 2002. I was a young teacher with a strong personality and a passion for education, but reality dealt me a devastating blow. I was "exiled" to a six-year rural middle school where students were sharply divided into two extremes. The top class was exceptional, while the bottom classes were full of "problem" students. When major exams approached, the school would often strip these students of their right to take them.

With a personality like mine, it was no surprise that the school administrators didn't care for me. The only person who supported me was the principal, while the director of moral education would have loved to kick me out. Naturally, when the school year began, I was assigned the worst class: Class 27, Grade 2002, a clear bottom-tier class. It was a disastrous start.

But through my management, and with the support of my assistant homeroom teacher, a beautiful math teacher, we went from her doubting me at first to standing shoulder to shoulder. After many twists and turns, we ultimately reaped the rewards of victory in the college entrance exams.

The story is fictional. Any resemblance to actual events is purely coincidental. This novel aims to convey sound educational principles and contains mild disciplinary themes.
