During the Kaihuang period of the Sui Dynasty, the leader of the craftsmen {Li Chun} was ordered to supervise the construction of the Tongji Canal. During the construction, he accidentally ran into a crashed alien spacecraft. The alien visitor in the spaceship is trapped on the earth. He has technology that is far ahead of the times, but he suffers from the lack of ore to repair the spacecraft.
