Programmer Lin Fan was born with the Nine Yin Severed Meridians and was never expected to live past twenty. After a reckless ghost-hunting livestream, he was taken in by the hidden Seven Kill Mystic Altar of the Liu Ren Fu Ying Hall.
The Seven Kill Mystic Altar of the Liu Ren Fu Ying Hall does not save people. It only slays evil. Flying sand and rolling stones can break spells; a green bamboo talisman sword can bind souls; the Five Ghost Soul-Rending Nails can destroy both body and spirit.
Lin Fan only wanted to learn a few skills to keep himself alive. Instead, he discovered that his defective constitution was a living key connecting yin and yang. The Yin Mountain Sect’s leader wanted to capture him and use him to refine corpses and restore souls. A century-old spirit from a mass grave saw him as a beacon. Even the ancient fiends sealed beneath the inner altar coveted his flesh and blood.
Worse, Su Jiu’s elder brother, the inner altar’s prodigy who vanished three years ago, seemed to be sealed deep within the formation. Now the Yin Mountain Sect had mobilized all its forces to seize the Yin-Gathering Nails suppressing him and open a passage between yin and yang that should never have existed.
“Either serve as the formation’s core and gamble on surviving, or run now and see how many days you can hide.” His grandmaster, Old Man Green Bamboo, slapped the Yin-Slaying Blade onto the table.
Lin Fan looked at Su Jiu, a curse on her shoulder as her flesh rotted, and tightened his grip on the bamboo in his hand.
He had joined this altar. He would slay this evil.
Be it a century-old fiend or a corpse-refining ancestor, just watch me send the sand flying and stones rolling, while my talismans suppress the Nine Netherworlds.
What does it have to do with Fu Ying Pavilion?
