Seven years ago, a sudden fire burned away the dreams and love of Lin Zhixia, a gifted perfumer. She lost her sense of smell, and the man she loved, firefighter Chen Jin. Everyone believed Chen Jin had died in the rescue. Carrying endless regret and a broken heart, Lin Zhixia left for another city, sealing away every memory tied to scent.
Seven years later, she returns as an experienced psychotherapist specializing in post-traumatic stress disorder. During an emergency intervention, she meets Lu Xiao, a taciturn man with a distant gaze. A decorated fire captain, he is haunted by nightmares of the past and has shut away all his emotions. As she tries to unlock his sealed heart, she catches a familiar scent on him: cedar and flames, an aroma that belongs only to Chen Jin.
He is the lover she thought had died long ago.
But their reunion is not the start of redemption. It is the prelude to another storm. Altered memories, hidden truths, and the seven empty years between them once again push them toward the abyss of fate.
