The Ghost-Eating Dad

This is the story of Sun Wu, an ordinary man living in seclusion in the remote Luoxia Valley, who unexpectedly became a “calamity solver,” and Zhang Tiezhu, a village boy. Using traditional skills, they deal with all kinds of supernatural incidents caused by obsession and resentment.

There are no earth-shaking immortal arts here, only down-to-earth remedies: glutinous rice to calm spirits, fried dough sticks to ward off evil, and copper coins for divination. Sun Wu's golden, crispy fried dough sticks can fill the living's stomachs and warm souls that have been cold for far too long.
