Siheyuan: From the Start, I Sent Everyone to Kowloon Walled City for Hard Labor

[Underworld godfather Yi Zhonghai, firearms expert Liu Haizhong, and professional extortionist Yan Bugui: the three great figures of a 1960s courtyard house cross the sea to Hong Kong and take over the underworld.]

[Name: He Yuzhu. Police Department code name: Pig Butcher. He remotely directs Yi Zhonghai and sweeps through the underworld, using the underworld to fight the underworld.]

After his superior is assassinated and his boss is taken out, undercover cop He Yuzhu somehow becomes a crime lord. After his death, he finds himself in a 1960s courtyard house, reborn as another man with the same name: He Yuzhu.

He soon realizes that no one in this courtyard is a good person. They’re even more vicious than the people in northern Myanmar in his previous life.

So he takes decisive action, reports everyone in the courtyard, then leads them all to Kowloon Walled City to do under-the-table work, using them as coolies to earn his first fortune.

When He Yuzhu investigates the last case he handled in his previous life, he discovers it involves a vast international criminal organization. There’s no way he can take them on alone, so he takes the whole courtyard down the path of crime and establishes Hong Kong’s first underworld steelworks gang, making it easier to keep investigating the case.
