In your youth, have you ever watched someone silently?
Separated by the daylight of the library and the glass of the viewfinder, there was a safe distance of a whole boyhood.
This is not a story about a crush coming true.
This is about how two "observers" learned to take off their lenses and step out of the viewfinder over a long period of time, from taxidermists and specimens to two trees standing side by side in late autumn——
The roots are quietly intertwined deep in the soil, and the branches and leaves are kept at an appropriate distance in the wind, sharing the rain and sunshine of the same sky.
Maybe we spent our entire youth practicing how to love.
The really long lesson is to learn how to maintain a distance with the people you love that can reflect each other without devouring each other.
Dusk is approaching and time is passing.
And they finally raised their heads from the long observation and saw each other——
Light will be refracted and memory will be blurred. Only those moments that have been solemnly watched are condensed into amber in time.
