In the eyes of those alien uncles, our planet is just a broken garden full of weeds (human civilization). They thought it was an eyesore, so they threw a bottle of special "cosmic herbicide" (they called it Λ energy) at the earth. The Arctic has opened a "back door" (that thing is really called a "door"), and herbicides are pouring in. High-rise buildings have been transformed, people have become monsters, and cities have been erased with an eraser—they call this "formatting," which means clearing it out and starting over. My name is Lin Feng, an ordinary unlucky guy, struggling to survive in the apocalypse, and accidentally stuffed a concentrated solution of "herbicide" (they call it a "seed") into my body. I just wanted to live, but somehow I picked up a key that could temporarily block the "back door", took a tube of "antidote" that might mutate, and carried the last wish of a mad scientist: to go north and find a ship.
